Fr. Lies is a native Wichitan, ordained for the Diocese of Wichita in May 2001. He was first assigned as an Associate Pastor for Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Pittsburg, KS. In 2003, Fr. Lies was assigned as Chaplain and Head of the Theology Department at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in Wichita. During his years at Bishop Carroll, Fr. Lies has directed and participated in a variety of youth and young adult retreats and mission trips as well as presenting on retreats for Catholic couples married five years or less.
